# See a conversation's history

To see the history, open **Assignments** and click the history icon on the conversation. **Action History** lists every action, with the action type, who did it, remarks and the date. Click **Interaction(s)** to see the linked mails of the thread together with their notes and tags.

## How to see a conversation's history

1. Open **Assignments** from your profile menu.
2. Click the history icon on the conversation.
3. Read the **Action History** list.
4. Click **Interaction(s)** to see the linked mails with their notes and tags.

## When to use it

> Before escalating a complaint, Meera, the support head, checks who replied to the customer and when, so she can tell the manager exactly what happened.

## Good to know

- If nothing has been done on a conversation yet, you see "No Action History Found".
- Each entry shows how many times that action was taken.
