# See a user's mail and login logs

To see a user's logs, open the user from Manage Users and go to the Logs tab. Choose how many of the latest mails to list, then open Incoming Mails, Outgoing Mails, Folder Details, Last 10 Login IP or Audit Details. You can also search mails by sender, recipient or subject.

## How to see a user's mail and login logs

1. Open **Manage Users** under your domain and click the user's login name.
2. Open the **Logs** tab.
3. Pick how many mails to list in **Latest**.
4. Open the box you want to read, such as **Incoming Mails** or **Last 10 Login IP**.

## At the top of the tab

| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Latest** | How many mails each list shows, from 10 to 200 in steps of 10. |
| **From Archive** | Tick it and pick a date to read mails from the archive from that date instead. A date is required. |
| **Search Mails** | Choose **All**, **From**, **To**, **Subject** or **Mail-Id**, type text in **Search here** and click **Go**. Results show in **Searched Result**. |

## Boxes

| Box | Columns |
|---|---|
| **Incoming Mails** | S.No., From, Subject, Size(KB), Date/Time, Last Action. |
| **Outgoing Mails** | S.No., To, Subject, Size(KB), Date/Time, Last Action. |
| **Folder Details** | Folder Name, No. of Mails, Space Used (MB). |
| **Last 10 Login IP** | No., Login IP, Date, Login Type, Browser Type, Time. |
| **Audit Details** | Sr No, Date, Administrator, Admin email, Description, IP: changes made to this user by administrators. |

Each box has a refresh icon. You can also view the mail headers of a listed mail.

## Example

> Anita at acme.in says a quotation never reached the customer. Rohit opens her **Logs** tab, sets **Latest** to 50, searches **To** for the customer's address, and reads the **Last Action** column to see what happened to the mail.

## Good to know

- Logs are for reading; nothing here changes the mailbox.
- Support administrators do not see the **Logs** tab.

## Common questions

**Can I see logs older than the latest list?**

Yes. Tick **From Archive**, pick a date, and the mail lists use the archive from that date.

**How do I find one mail?**

Use **Search Mails**: choose **All**, **From**, **To**, **Subject** or **Mail-Id**, type your text and click **Go**. Matches appear under **Searched Result**.
