# Check successful and failed logins

To review sign-in attempts, open Admin console › Reports › Intrusion Detection. Pick a From Date and To Date, enter and validate your domain name and click Search. The report is queued; open History, then the report, to see the Successful Login and Un-Successful Login tabs, and print them.

## How to check successful and failed logins

1. Open **Reports** and click **Intrusion Detection**.
2. Set **From Date** and **To Date**.
3. Type your domain name in **Domain** and click the magnifier icon to validate it.
4. Click **Search**, then click **History**.
5. Open the report and switch between **Successful Login** and **Un-Successful Login**.

## Options

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| **From Date** / **To Date** | The period to check. A future date is reset to today, and the end date cannot be before the start date. | today |
| **Domain** | Your domain name. Click the magnifier icon to validate it. | empty |
| **Search** | Queues the report. | |
| **History** | Opens **List Of Previously Generated Intrusion Reports**. Open one to read it, or delete it from the list. **Close** returns to the page. | |
| **Successful Login** / **Un-Successful Login** | The two tabs of an opened report. | |
| **Print Report** | Prints the tab you are on. | |

## Example

> Rohit at acme.in sees complaints about locked accounts. Anita runs the report for the past week, opens the **Un-Successful Login** tab and finds many failed attempts on one mailbox from the same address. She resets that password and asks the server administrator to block the address.

## Good to know

- The report is made in the background, so it may take a short while to show in **History**.
- You can only run it for your own domain, or domains a server administrator has allowed you to manage.
