# Create a graphical or login report

To create the report, click the Logs icon at the top of the sidebar, or open Admin console › Reports › Graphical Report. Pick a date, choose count, size, login type or login geo information, enter and validate your domain name and click Search. The report is prepared in the background and appears under History.

## How to create a graphical or login report

1. Click the **Logs** icon at the top of the sidebar, or open **Reports** and click **Graphical Report**.
2. Pick the **Date**.
3. In **Select**, choose the kind of report.
4. Type your domain name in **Domain** and click the magnifier icon to validate it.
5. Click **Search**, then click **History** and download the file when it appears.

## Options

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| **Date** | The day to report on. A future date is reset to today. | today |
| **Select** | **Incoming/Outgoing (count-wise)** and **Incoming/Outgoing (size-wise)** give mail totals. **Login Type** and **Login Geo Information** give sign-in details. | count-wise |
| **Domain** | The domain name to report on. Click the magnifier icon to validate it. A tick means it is accepted. | empty |
| **Search** | Queues the report. You must validate the domain first. | |
| **History** | Lists previously generated reports. Files made today are in bold. Click a file name to download it. | |

## Example

> After Meera at acme.in hears that someone signed in from another city, she picks yesterday's date, chooses **Login Geo Information**, validates acme.in and clicks **Search**. A few minutes later she opens **History** and downloads the file to see where the sign-ins came from.

## Good to know

- The domain name must be your own, or a domain a server administrator has allowed you to manage. Any other domain is not accepted.
- Reports are spreadsheet files, not charts on screen.

## Common questions

**I clicked Search but nothing opened. Where is my report?**

The report is made in the background. The page says your file is in the queue. Click **History** to see the list of generated reports and click the file name to download it.
